IRLANDA 2024

 Today my host family took me on a trip, to Killarney to visit the Corc waterfall. It took us like an hour and a half from home, we had lunch there, at a centra supermarket and I tried Irish sausages which were really good, and different to the Spanish ones, we also went shopping, and saw some shops like Penny's. Then in the afternoon me and all the Erasmus students went to a concert, they played some Irish music that we didn't know but also some pop muaic that we knew, so we had so much fun.

 Today we had a really interesting day at school, some of our hosts students had to organize some matches for kids for the future leaders subjects. We helped them and watched some of the kids matches, which were really fun, but it was outside at the pitch, and It was too cold. Then in the afternoon we had the open night, where all the exchange students of different countries like Germany, Italy, Pakistan... We all watched some typical Irish dances, and then we had some cupcakes and juice all together at school. It was a really fun day.

 Today we had a really fun trip, to Clare, where we saw some really famous cliffs. We took a bus from the school, and it took us around 2 hours to get to the place, It was really cold and It was raining all the time. We took some pictures all together, and then we had lunch, at a restaurant that had lots of typical Irish dishes, we had surfing classes, but some of us didn't go because it was freezing, and then we went back to school. I had dinner with the family and watched a movie.

 Today we went all the Erasmus students and our hosts on a trip to Cork City. We took a train, and in 1 hour and a half we were there, we visited the center of the city, and we also went shopping at some famous shops, like pennys, where I bought some jeans. Then we had lunch at the marine market, a famous place with lots of shops where you can buy different types of food. Then I had the best milkshake ever, and we all went back by train. Finally, I had dinner with all the family, and we all watched a movie called The Day After Tomorrow together.

 Today it was our first day of high school in Ireland. At first, we had 3 hours of hiking through some famous Irish mountains around the area, and we ended up really exhausted and tired. Then we had some school subjects that we don't have in Spain, so it was really interesting seeing how the class worked, and at lunch we also met some of the other Spanish students who are at Scoil Pol. Then we went to the final of hurling, and sadly, the school lost, but it was exciting to see. Finally, we went home and watched a movie.

 Today, when I first woke up, I organized all my stuff, and then I had breakfast with the family, I tried waffles for the first time, and they were fantastic, I will definitely have them in Spain. All the Erasmus students and our partners went to Limerick, we saw the most important parts of the city, and we learned a lot, we had lunch around 1pm at KFC, and then we went home. My host mom took me to a supermarket to buy some food I liked, and then I watched a movie with my Erasmus partner, which was really good. We had dinner, and I went to sleep at approximately 11 pm.

 At first, we took the bus from Logroño to Bilbao, at 12:30, and we arrived at Bilbao 2h and a half later. From there we took another bus to the airport and we ate there. Later, we took the plane, and we arrived in Dublin! All the other Erasmus students greeted us, and they were all really nice. We took another bus to Limerick and started to get to know each other a bit more, we had dinner at subway, and it was really good. Then I met the family, and went to sleep, it was such a fun and good day!
